Swivel seat - oblique angle

can you 'rule' me out of the 'equation ? '

Can someone remind me what this thread is about, my head is spinning and I feel as though we must have taken a wrong turn!

Everyone seems to have a different angle on it - can we all come to the point and triangulate a solution to the problem?

I think we have a winner :thumb, I have exhausted my repertoire and it is time to give up graciously and sine off.

I think the OP was asking if anyone had found a suitable "locus" point to stop the natural eclipse of the chairs rotations hitting the door card at a tangent and scuffing it.

Coats on .......:pinkbanana

That is quite the conundrum. My hypotenuse (ouch!) is that the vertex can be calculated, but that trial and error resulting in a mark on the chair runner may give the quickest solution.

accordion to a new survey people are also sneaking musical terms into conversations

i think this will drum up some more lines

no. just harping on instead

I think we have all been instrumental in answering MattBell’s question. A round of applause to everyone - there is nothing wrong with blowing our own trumpet

Thinking about the triangle solution from earlier, all those angles are ringing true now

The above ensemble of postings will undoubtedly be moved to the proper sub forum toot suite.

conduct yourselves properly everyone. don't want to snare anymore puns. now I bet he wishes he had bought a mazda Bongo.
instead he bought a VW which is the cymbal of campers and doesn't need any extras to Jazz it up.
there was a review in the daily Recorder about wether the awning wood-wind out properly

Back for one last encore and without wishing to trumpet my solution further, but having conducted a straw poll from this thread and recording the results in a pi chart, the simplest solution is to take a spin in the swivel chair, composing the optimal angle of recline v distance from the cupboard to avoid damaging the van interior and score the chair runner accordionly.

Sorry I can't help you as my LHD seat never turns around because of the steering wheel and the kitchen blocking it's full potential.

You have the drawback of the RHD making it a pain to swivel the driver's seat, and swivelling the passenger's seat is not optimal too.
That is why I think VW should consider making a LWB California (maybe name it the Grand California instead of that monstrosity), to have more inner space, and a possibility to have an over 2 meter bed for the taller Californians over here.
100% agree

My two front seats get stuck in a triangle, facing each other!
