T4 California Insurance recommendations

Hi all,

Can I have some recommendations for insurance.

My current insurer is disputing the valve of my 2001 California Event red i with 140k Miles,

They have come back with a market value of £5k for the agreed value,

So I need to find another insurer.

I’ve told them it’s worth at least 16k which they totally disagree with.

I’m happy with Adrian Flux. Agreed Value of £11k for 1991 2.4D pop top. £230.

It was the price we paid almost three years ago, £23k

How strange, it’s Just Kampers I’m having the problem with.
They said it’s a imported van and as it’s now 17 years old it’s now only worth 5k

I told them I would be able to buy a California of that age for 5k but they would have it. I sent them loads of pics.

Perhaps I need to find a more Vw knowledgable insurer.
