Hi all. I have a 2008 Cali, and the aircon has been intermittent for some time. So with a holiday to Europe fast approaching, I decided to get it fixed. A local company degassed it first - £90 - then replaced the sensor - £200 - then replaced some kind of valve - £200. After each visit the engineer left saying that should do it. But it didn’t. He actually admitted defeat after the final £200 and his parting shot was ‘well, just hope it isn’t hot…’. So I’m £500 out of pocket and no further forward. He seems to think it’s the compressor… but won’t commit. The aircon comes on - and is really cold. It can stay on for a random amount of time. But it’s currently starting to blow warm air again after 5 or 10 minutes. It can then come back on if you leave it blowing - or can also come back in if you do the old switch off / wait / switch on routine. But there’s no solid pattern. Just wondered if anybody had the same issues on a T5 Cali and managed to fix it? Ours is 2008. Thanks.
