T5 Front Bumper damaged

Someone appears to have bumped into the front bumper left side..Currently stable.
Looking for advice re repair.
Welding ?
New or used bumper?

Getting quotes up to £1000 which seems an expensive resolution to what seems on the surface a minimum bump.However so far the suggestion is that this is a big job.

Has anyone any experience of similar problem or any advice as how to move forward.Reluctant to make it an insurance job.

Is the bumper out or the wing pushed in?

If its the bumper you could try realigning it after gently warming it with your hairdryer

The bumpers out .It seems though that a piece on the back of the bumper has been sheered off .Starting to think welding if it is possible is an alternative to a complete new bumper. Anybody any experience of welding in this situation or as someone suggested a high powered glue would hold it in place .
Struggling to avoid the cost of new bumper .

Whichever way you go the bumper will have to come off in the first instance to see what’s what behind.
