T5 side window replacement

Mate has had the passenger side rear window smashed by scrotes who made off with his bike. Any idea where he can get it replaced by someone decent in Swindon area?

His insurance company want a large excess as it is not windscreen.

It is, as you didn't state that the vehicle was a Kombi/Conversion.
The California has rear windows both sides. This vehicle doesn't have side Rear windows at all.

So, I presume this was an Original VW sliding door window ? Did it have an opening section or not?
Either way - Check out the Windscreen people - they don't just do windscreens.
VW Dealership - BUT they would probably call in a 3rd party like Autoglass.
Conversion company - but if you want to keep it original then you may have to source the replacement yourself.
