We had the water pump replaced 2 years ago but it has abruptly stopped working. I've checked the fuse and tried it with the engine running but nothing. It clicks when you turn the tap on but no sound from the pump. Any ideas, thanks in advance.

Could be pump or tap micro switch.

Remove cutlery draw.
Locate wires from tap and follow them around R side of kitchen bowl. Plug wrapped in foam.
Undo plug then use a piece of wire or paper clip to bridge contacts in plug section Not connected to tap.
If pump starts then tap microswitch is the problem. It needs cleaning or a replacement tap.
If pump doesn’t start then probably need new pump.

If you can hear the tap clicking most likely it’s the water pump .
You could try taking it out and giving the end of the pump a spin with your hand, might get it going if not it’s a new pump.

The pump as a part it about £18.

It cost me £600 to get a dealer to fit it. Another quoted £1000. If you can take it out yourself you’ll save yourself a ton of money even if you need a new one.

Do you have the shower option? If so try the switch. If it works then it’s the tap micro switch .

Mine did that, and was the micro switch in the tap. I'm sure there is a video on here that shows you how to sort that. I also bought a pump just in case that went in the future. If it is pump then again there is a video that explains that too.

Happened to my T6 - just got a new pump - only cost a few quid …

The only think to check first maybe the tube has become detached from pump - that happened to me once as well just needed to be reattached and clipped on …

Good luck

In addition to the water pump not working, no sound and no increase in amperage through control panel when turning tap on, the 20A 12v "cigarette lighter" (by the 3 pin 240v socket) on the side of the sink is also dead, are the circuits for this and the pump combined?

No, separate fuses. Under passenger seat RHD.
5 amp for tap, 15 amp for 12v socket ( 20amp on T6.1 ).
Turn seat 90o and slide backwards towards kitchen.
