T6.1 GOK gas regulator

Newbie question.... Should there be a rubber washer in the Regulator connection to the cylinder valve. When I connected the cylinder for the first time there was a gas smell, not sure if we have a missing washer, if so is there a specific one I need to order. Thanks

The washer should be in the gas tap end that screws into the regulator

Here's the gas tap there is no washer so must be the reason why we have a gas smell, will get a washer. Thanks for your helpful reply

That gas tap is not genuine it’s needs to be a gok one that is a camping gaz one

We had that gas tap as well when we bought our van second hand, we also had a smell of gas. I replaced it with the proper one and I replaced the tube at the same time as I noticed it expired 2025 in the uk at least it had a lable with several countries. I didnt know if it was critical but could be worth a check too, better safe than sorry with gas.
