T6.1 Ocean length with folded T6 bike rack (closed)

Hey all i am booking Eurotunnel and wondered if i would get away with being under 5m with a folded bike rack?

Yeah, I don’t think they care. Im sure I’ve gone on with bikes without telling them before. The car behind can always still go almost up to the bumper anyway.

had mine measured at ferry port by a jobsworth grumpy booking in person and they only measured the van bike rack was in closed position, I had booked as a under 5m camper.

You are about 30cm too long for that classification. Choose the next one up <5.4m, I’m my experience the prices do not change.
