T6 204ps Manual

Has anyone got any feedback on owning the T6 204ps Manual?

I read on another post that there might be a gear box issue, but it didn’t eliborate what it was or whether this was just hear say...any ideas?

VW don’t seem to sell this spec anymore, so could this be for any particular reason?

They seem to have removed the manual in an attempt to get a handle on the rear world emissions tests. By supplying only DSG the gear changes can be regulated to a degree and get the emissions to where they need them.

I have 2016 12500 miles 4Motion Manual. No problems thus far.

So the gearbox comment on the other thread was a red herring, as rather than being a mechanical issue it’s down to emissions.
