T6 VW Awning & mounts removal

The recent storms bent the rear mount of my VW awning upwards. New mount on order (£££s)
My questions are,
How do you remove the awning?
How do you remove the mounts?
Looks like it should be simple, but would like to hear from someone who has done it!

I've removed it on my own. I'd recommend doing it with help though. The awning is 20 Kg, but it's very long, 2,5m. Make sure if you remove it alone that you hold it with hands at the same distance to either end so that it is balanced.
