Tailgate downlights - I need some, anyone got a good solution/retrofit?

Have searched but cannot see anything?

Keen on some downlights for my tailgate (I cook from a pull out tray)

Was considering a rechargable LED striplight but something more elegant would be preferred.

Possible to retrofit OEM ones?

Anyone done anything interesting?

We had a T6 Beach with a slidepod that had integrated LED strips in the pullout fed from the 12v Socket on the right of the boot. There was a strip on top of the unit, a strip beneath and some inside the cupboards and cutlery compartment. It provided enough light to cook by under the tailgate even if it was pitch black.
Occasionally you can get 12v LED strips in the middle of Lidl for a fraction of the cost of elsewhere (camping equipment suppliers). do you have the socket in the boot?

I do have the socket, but am keen on some overhead lighting.

And might have a play with it on the tailgate - you can get smaller white ones.

But I’m concerned it might look a little bodged.
