planning our first tour as soon as we are let out! - slept in it in the garden last night!

has anyone got a tailgate tent for additional storage - are they any good?

dont want a full side awning

Trouble with a Tailgate tent is it requires the tailgate to be open so the vehicle is no longer secure if you are not present. A small pop up tent or Toilet tent is more useful in my opinion.

A drive away awning is useful in as much as you can leave your spare clobber in it when you're out for the day as it stays up on its own, also it marks the fact that your pitch is occupied. (Last summer we came back to find someone had shifted our mains cable and door mat and parked his caravan on our pitch!)
