Can anyone recommend any good third party sellers of California Ocean’s?
Currently I have found...

25Seven Campers.
A1 Camper Conversions.
EsiCampers.

Any experience of these companies or any others to recommend apart from the VW Van Centre used section?

Many thanks from Rod.

Andrew at A1 Camper Conversions is great. We just got our new Cali through him.

The for sale section on this forum ?

Bought mine from them.

Check your wallet when you leave. I don't know what deals they do on their advertised prices, but it needs to be A LOT.

Having had a hire Ocean whilst mine is away for roof repairs, personally I'd not recommend buying an ex rental Cali!!! People hiring just don't care about what they do to / with it ... though maybe the hire company providing the one I had are just not bothered .. they did not even reply to my list of concerns and issues found!

Wasn’t what I typed but I’m in China, so I guess I should expect to have no freedom of speech. I’m just waiting for that knock on the door................

Hi Rod,
It's none of my business but why specifically third party sellers? I'm just curious.

I got mine from Bilbo’s who deal with SMG at Tonbridge. It allowed me to get a good part ex deal on my Bilbo Komba. Saved me lots of hassle.

Just our budget is a little short.
Plenty of T6s for sale privately that are still in warranty. I sold mine recently. As long as you are careful with verifying ownership, I'm not sure a 3rd party seller offers much to beat a private van in proper vw warranty.

They come up on BCA auctions once and a while, which is where 3rd party dealers get some of them and then charge more money to you.

I bought via BCA recently for a mini clubman 3 years old, but used a company called flippingcars to do it on my behalf . You tell them the car you are after, they bid for you the price your willing to pay. Cheaper than doing it yourself as flippingcars is a dealer and pays less to bid than you will if you do it yourself privately. He has access to the closed online auctions us joe public cant acccess as well.

Up to you to do your research, bid you buy etc. Go for nothing less than grade 1 , and no mechanical issues. odd ding in paint work you can get a specialist in to remove and get a good mop and polish ceramic coat good as new!!
