Travel on Monday 6th to Germany and France .Madness?

Hello Folks,
We are due on the ferry on Monday morning heading to Wuppertal to see the mono rail and then South to Passau and then back into France for a relaxation in Provence. But........ We are beginning to wonder if we should put it off for a few days given the weather ( we can organise around diesel shortages)
It is not clear at the moment how bad things are at the moment. Does any one have any idea/ advice? Or maybe head for Spain's??

Not actually been accros the border but according the news a few days ago the fuell problems are out of the way.
But , in France you never know what to expect

Yep , there has been trouble in sevral places in Belgium , compared to the German disaster we are been treaded kind. Or Paris with the Seine ....
Hope the weather turns soon , they keep predicting rain and storm....but always at random and local ....
