Spent the weekend at Tresseck campsite (https://tresseckcampsite.co.uk) and did a bit of paddle boarding. Great site, basic (portaloos only) with an on-site Cafe serving food and drink.
Cost is £10 per adult, per night, and £2 per vehicle, per night. So for me, 2 nights cost £24 which I think is pretty good. Normal campsites charge a standard pitch fee which assumes 2 adults, so nice to have it priced in this way.
Easy access to the river Wye, like a mini pebbled beach which is great for kids to paddle, river quite shallow here.
Pub at the entrance to the site (didn’t use). Terrible phone signal. Allows campfires if that’s your thing, they sell wood and kindling.

+1 for this friendly site which was part of a family run farm. They can also take you and your boat upstream (for a reasonable fee).

Good circular walk of 3 or 4 miles taking in three hamlets/ churches and crossing the river on a road bridge and a suspension bridge downstream to get you back.

Pub at site entrance is good.

This was us last year.Screenshot_20220731-202030_Gallery.jpg
