Hello all. I hope everyone is having a great summer with their California's.
We've just finished an epic summer trip in our T5.1 camper to Switzerland and excitedly awaiting handover of our new 2022 California Beach in Ascot Grey.

The one item I really want to add to the Beach is a rear pull out draw. I know Camper X and others make then but we live in Jersey and I cant find any that are willing to ship to us.
I'm happy to use a freight forwarding company that services Jersey if needed and just need to be able to get a draw delivered to them on the UK south coast.

Any ideas or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

We use the product from ; https://www.gruenthal-mobilcamping.de/produkt-kategorie/heckauszuege/
I belief they ship everywhere.
Briljant piece of equipment. Quality stuff.

Can only speak from personal experience and perspective.
We have a T5.1 Ocean and are using the 800mm (depth) version for maximum storage. We can use (6x 40*30cm) boxes or (2x 60*40 + 2x 40*30) euro-size boxes. Currently we use the 6x smaller boxes. See earlier shared forum thread.

The 800mm implies we can not move our back bench back 100%. We loose somewhere between 5-8cm the back bench is not able to move backwards.
For a Beach, this brand only has the 800mm (depth) available currently (as per website). Since a Beach does not have the cupboard I think I would preffer the 800mm for max. storage space.
The 800mm Beach edition even has more space then the Ocean edition.

Other migth have a different opinion (again, we do not have a beach).

SO I collected my California Beach today.. Im very very happy. Few things I think VW could have done better on. The cabin finish feels a lot cheaper then earlier models but over all its well put together.
I think your right and I will go for the 800mm depth version.
