We're on an extended spell touring in Spain and it looks like I'm going to have to replace my front tyres - bad planning on my part!!! Any advice on managing this - I know it's going to hurt!!!

I was wondering about this too as ours will need replacing sometime this summer... with the state of the euro does it mean that tyres will be much cheaper on the continent?

Make sure you get the correct load rated tyres.
With the current exchange rate you should do well, let us know how you get on.

You shouldn't have problems changing tires at Spain, plus sure they are cheaper than at UK. As an advise, is you can stop in Andorra on your way to Spain, you will find even cheaper tires (and other stuff) because the taxes

Ditto all that. We had a tyre to replace and it was cheaper in spain. Needed to order the tyre in one big tyre specialist and the price was outrageous. Shop around and get a deal like we did.
