under tray protector missing

Hi there has any one been told by the vw garage that there under tray protected is missing .......
They told me that driving in snow can cause it to rip off I'm not sure what it dose but the want £67 +vat to put it on can any one help

Does give a lot of protection underneath as there is a lot of kit carried underneath.

If my underprotection had to be replaced i would concider a metal or alu one instead of the plasticone as for the engineprotection...

Don't know what year your Cali is but I'm sure I read on the T4/T5 forum that there was a period of time when Vw stopped fitting the under tray.
