Underslung water tank and tyre pressure sensor

Hi everyone, new here and hoping someone might be able to help. I have a T6.1 Beach 5dr, 2WD LHD that I bought a 69L underslung tank for.

After removing all the under body plastics around the spare tyre to be able to install it, I discovered a tyre sensor antenna right where one of the tanks brackets needs to be screwed into the chassis. I’ve searched high and low but haven’t found anyone reporting this same problem. The only images I can find online that show the tank installed and where this area can be seen, there is no sensor.

I wonder if anyone else has run into this or has any ideas as to how I can work around it. I have the option of returning the tank, but I’d really like to make it work. We were using a 20L internal tank off grid last summer and it was hard work as a family of 5.

Here are some photos showing the tank and the unfortunate little sensor.

So the ECU can be moved, it needs to be rearwards of the van as it uses the signal strength difference to determine the front and rear sensors. But left and right and done by the wheel direction. You might need to extend the harness and the tank being full of water might effect the signal strength. I would just remove the ECU, leave it attached to the harness and then with the tank installed, play with moving the ECU and see if it picks up the tyre sensor signals.

I'd remount the antenna on top of the bracket after tank installation.
My guess is you are not intending to tour with 69 litres of water onboard, so the tank should not affect the antenna performance
