Was just about to order a new one, now maybe will delay. On the downside I imagine price may go up and deals are good at the moment….so bit of a quandary.

looking at picture there appears to be few updates other than just new worktop and table but as you say you will get good deal on current model leading up to release.

I guess it will come down to lead time on new version and if I can wait or not. I’m not getting any younger!

So a new yacht feel with light wood interior , bamboo table (that can clip outside the sliding door), luggage elastics in the top lockers. And then optional is front cab blackout thermal mats. Showing this all at the up coming Caravan Salon.

I wonder if there will be other small changes like in the Sven and the BoxDrive. Both have got different sink / cooking setups. I get my replacement Boxdrive next week and also have taken a look. Both Knaus and Westfaila have opted for a new Dometic twin burner / sink unit instead of them being separate. Giving a bit more space on the worktop. I am not sure of that yet.
I also see that the blinds have changed - not sure of the manufacturer yet - but the pleated blinds are now on rollers. The previous i thought just blocked a bit more light with the fly screens. A bit more private.
Nice that the front cab window has a Remis blind on the new Knaus to match the cab doors. I wonder if the GC will keep the screen with the tent pole as standard having that the window mats will be an optional upgrade.
Also hope they have made provision in the new GC for Lithium. In the Knaus - it has a dometic charger replacing the CBE charger as before. So yes its just small changes - but they are sort of all blurring into the same - GC / Sven / Boxdrive. Will be interesting to see.

We have one on order since May and I wanted to amend the order to add LED lights but was told the system was locked whilst they updated the system to MY2026. I know from another post that someone ordered a vehicle prior to the upgrade to the infotainment system and theirs arrived with it.

If the picture they show is real and not just artist impression there appears to be fair few updates. lockers look different, kitchen unit slightly different shape, there are black end goes round some of the trim. Room liner looks different. Think this could be nice refresh if pic is true to life.

We have had the move to the new Crafter and that brought the new updates to the Crafter base van. I think this is pure 2026 Grand Cali revision and it does look in the images a lot may change, may have to delay! My big concern is that at the moment VW finance are giving a big incentive to existing customers on top of dealer discount, if that was to disappear then it would hurt….
