Wanted Urgently needed VW Palmerston Alloy

Hi everyone

After a recent puncture on the van, I had to call out VW breakdown who duly passed me on to the AA. Unfortunately the AA person had some trouble getting the alloy of the hub but then decided that a metal hammer would do the job !!!! much to my dismay.

I have made a claim against the AA who have agreed to pay the full cost of a replacement 18 inch Palmerston Alloy, but unfortunately the are on Back order with no date of supply so the big question is where can i get hold of a new one

Try eBay, while browsing at wheels yesterday, there was a couple new one for sale, I think one was in Germany, and the other in Lithuania,

Hi many thanks for the post the one in germany is £128 postage and because it is £625 would have vat and customs charges so over the £900 VW have said. But it's only money LOL. I would prefer one in the uk

Well The AA have now paid up and a new wheel has also been found so happy days.....
