I need to get my Cali serviced and would appreciate some recommendations of decent garages in the Dorset area. Who will service and care for my Cali.

Thanks for your reply , I have used Breeze at Poole before and did not have a good experience (when I got home from a service they left the water coolant cap off) , also they are expensive which is okay if I am getting good value for money and professional job. Also they have not been helpful with corrosion , saying they would call to sort and then I hear nothing.

So is there any other options garage wise in Dorset?

I called them recently as thinking of using them for service and warranty. Had some questions for the Service manager, who I think was fairly new.

Was told he would call me. Still waiting...

Usual for VW. Experienced the same with SMG Cowfold after being told we were on the the waiting list. No call back for 4 years, when chased reply was always ‘will check and get back to you’….since sold the van.

I wouldn’t take a vehicle the age of a T5 anywhere near a VW main dealer. Find a decent local mechanic IMHO.

I also had a bad experience with Breeze after a service, the fuel filter was not fully connected so diesel was leaking and I had to call the AA to fix.
I now use Retro Resus in Somerset which means travelling but it is worth it for peace of mind.
I can’t understand all the hype with Breeze, granted they are good at selling new California's.

I also had issues with Breeze at Poole hence I went independent at Vas works when my service plan expired. Mines a 2020 ocean

A company is only as good as the people who do the work. Once they lose those people they lose their reputation, but management never see that……. Unfortunately.
