Vanstyle sportline side bar Vs VW's own.

Has anyone fitted Vanstyles 'sportline' sidebars to the latest California? Are they an identical fit / look to the VW ones? Is there any cutting needed in the splash guard to fit, and can you still use the VW jack?

Don't know about the Vanstyle ones but I got ours from here.
I believe quite a few Cali owners have had these in the past when the company was under a different name.
I did have to cut the plastic undershield very slightly (you need to unbolt and drop it a bit though to get clearance while fitting the brackets) to get them on and the jacking points are still usable.
Look to be excellent quality.
