Comfortable campsite here between Padua and Venice, on the route of the bus between the 2 cities. Bus stops outside camp and you can buy tickets at the campsite reception.

There is a very small campsite on the Island of Lido that will have Cali’s. You can reach it via the ferry from Tronchetto:

If you’d rather take a hotel, you may park your car at the guarded car park at the airport. There are regular boat shuttles from there to the city. It is not very expensive and you can reserve on line.

Marina di Venezia is a lovely site. Massive and if you have kids, they would love it. Stayed here a couple of times without the Cali. Boat is fairly easy to Venice.

Just returned from 3 nights at camping Fusina which is on the mainland due west of Venice and overlooks the lagoon. We had one of the chained off lagoon side pitches which were 2 Eur extra a night but she let us off and just charged the ACSI rate of 20 Eur inc electricity. It’s not 5 star but superb location and clean warm showers and loos. Hourly vaporetto line 16 to Venice 5 mins away (13 Eur return). We did Venice one day and Murano / Burano the next. Unlike the St Nicholo one mentioned above on Venice Lido, Fusina is open all year. Would recommend.
