VW California Road Trip to Italy in 2020

I did a fair few areas in southern Italy and Sicily. Did you have any places in mind?

Hi, we are also thinking of touring Southern Italy next spring. I’ve just been chatting to a fellow camper where we’re staying today (Scotland) who reports that many of the roads are horrendous - with potholes and loose surfaces - his friend touring broke his exhaust and a wishbone.

Just wondering what your experience has been?
