Warm offside rear panel

Whenever it's wet on the road, my outside rear panel send to dry before the rest of the van, anyone that have this and due anyone's know why?

How bizarre! Never noticed anything like that on ours...
 
IIRC the aircon unit or some heat producing thingy is in there. Pull off the vented trim panel inside and you'll see.
 
I'd be interested in the answer, do keep us posted.
 
I wonder if there is some insulation missing inside that panel

Calis are not insulated. There is a some foam sound deadening/sound insulation in there though IIRC.
 
My understanding also that the cali is not insulated.
The whole of my van is that dirty at this time
 
the rear heater is in there on my beach so there must be a heater matrix in there too as loz says.never noticed any different drying times myself thoughave. on my beach in the boot opposite the jack there is a panel and if you pull it off you can see the heater motor and fan in there
