Warning lights

Hi the collective.
I seam to have a problem with warning lights on my 2013 cali.
the battery warning light and low fuel warning light are glowing (about half brightness) when the engine is running. If I plug in the seat belt the two warning lights go out completely!
Called VW assist the chap did a few checks (with no problems found) and then connected his lap top. Unfortunately my van would not even show up on his lap top.
I have booked it in with the dealer (who also says this is an unusual fault).
Any idea's ?
Knowledge is power when sending your pride and joy into the dealers !!!

We had a brand new one that had a few warning lights on that were about half lit and it was the dash insert that was faulty. The dealer will need to look into it properly but should hopefully be reasonably straight forward to sort out.

Took my 2013 Cali Beach in to dealer for service and have the same problem. DPH, low fuel and traction control half lit. To be honest hadn't noticed it before as hard to spot unless it is dark and you don't turn over the engine after turn the key. Anyway fault confirmed as faulty dash so replaced under warranty and both keys reprogrammed.
