Good morning all
Just wanted an updated answer , my ocean t6.1 becomes 3 years old in June so I believe then becomes out of the supplied factory warranty . .
Wanted to know if it is a straight forward formality to renew .? What are the costs ? Do all dealers charge the same for extending this ? , is there different extension times ?
Thks in advance

Yes

From 272 a year

Do it direct with VW, see link. Cost is fixed regardless, but you can buy third party ones instead at a different price. I'd stick with VW.

Yes, see link

I thought you can only extend the warranty within a fixed time period from new. Is that not the case?

The above Warranty is not the same as the 2 yr Extended Factory Warranty that has to be purchased within 30 days, I think, of first registration of a new vehicle.

Anyone purchasing a New Vehicle or a Demonstrator (Demo that is less than three months after first registration by VW ).
should make it part of the deal or the #1 priority to purchase the Factory extended warranty.

The cost is minimal and the benefits are potentially huge.

It is not something that Dealers push & some don't even know about it (apparently), The VW Factory warranty cannot be bettered anywhere.

If you've missed the opportunity, the All in is the next best thing , albeit nowhere near as good as the Factory warranty.

Put it on your spec list , when configuring your order and get it paid for with the Van
