Water cap key

Noobie question from a first time owner.

Recently bought our first camper, 2016 T6 California (absolutely loving it so far) First month in and just realised among all the keys I have (bike lock, tow bar, safe, etc) I don't have the key to lock the water cap. Not the end of the world but it would be nice to be able to lock it.

Does anyone know if/where you can get replacements, and are they a standard issue key or suited to each water cap.

Are you sure it’s not in one of the many little hidey holes ?
Maybe a VW Commercial ( with California experience) could provide you one
I expect Breeze at Poole would post one to you. I wonder if one size fits all? I guess so

The easiest and quickest, and probably cheapest is to purchase a new Cap + 2 keys set. They are standard fit for virtually all camper vans, motorhomes etc: with on-board water tanks. Amazon or eBay or pay 2 or 3 x as much from your Dealership.

From VW - Spare key £27.95. Complete Cap + 2 keys from Amazon/eBay £15 - £ 25

Yeah I've looked in the many many hidey holes in the van, couldn't find anything.
