Water pump no water

Any advise please. My water pump makes all the right noises but no water from the tap. Tanks is full, and when you extract pipe from tank and fill it it comes out of tap. should the pipe in the tank have a fixing ?

It sounds like a problem I had a couple of years ago on holiday. The pipe into the tank on a 2007 van should be attached to the pump. If you are a bit vigorous with the filling and use a hose that goes down too far, the pipe can come off the pump. You have to remove the lid to the tank and re-attach it and use a stainless steel jubilee clip to stop it happening again. The lid of the tank can be a problem to remove and I had to go the main dealers for them to get it off. Best of luck
