Water tanks

Are the water tanks on the Cali insulated in any way or do I need to drain them both down
If so when is the best time as I will be using the van in dec.

I was led to believe they are insulated, but better to be safe than sorry. Mine is empty.

Thanks guys.I have drained out the water tanks I was really surprised as to how much water I had left in there, the gauge on the panel said half full,but it seemed to take ages to empty.i intend to use it a little bit in the winter so I will fill it when I next use.

Thanks Chris good tip.
I turned on the tap at the same time as the handle on the tank it seemed to take ages
But like you say if you let air in it will drain quicker.

Chris is spot on it takes ages with filler cap in place and lot quicker when removed.
