Ok I’ll look closer cheersPayload of 2021 4Motion 6.1 Ocean
Hope someone can help. I’m taking delivery of my new 4Motion 2021 6.1 Ocean in a few weeks and am just looking at payloads. The thing is I have added a diff lock and a tow bar to my spec and am a bit worried about how much payload I have to play with. I have 3 pretty heavy dogs (87kg total) and...vwcaliforniaclub.com
MOT Group 7 is 3000kgs to 3500kgs and as the Ocean is (my T6 anyhow) 3080kgs then no change.I am pretty uninformed on this, but I am sure I've read somewhere that once you go over a T30 other requirements change, e.g. MOT type? If that's the case it's probably more significant an exercise than just "up-plating" the van?
I thought Class 7 was for commercial vehicles, but because the Cali is classed as a car (M1 vs N1) it still falls into Class 4 (along with "motor caravans")? In which case it actually doesn't matter at all as I don't think there's officially a weight cap on Class 4 . . .MOT Group 7 is 3000kgs to 3500kgs and as the Ocean is (my T6 anyhow) 3080kgs then no change.
