What have you bought for your Cali today :-)

Thanks, they look really good. I have bad arthritis in my hands and have just ordered myself some.
They get lovely and toastie! I hope they provide you with relief too. We all love it after a long walk from the van. My daughter plays a lot of outdoor sport too so she’s been ‘borrowing’ it from the van!!!

@Aidy P these are brilliant thanks!!!
They get so hot and I use them in pockets on various parts of my body to keep warm.
Very high quality, magnetic to hold them together and have a neat little bag to carry them in. I bought the orange and it’s great.

That’s great @GillianC … I always worry that people think I’m mad when I recommend gadgets!! Been using mine a lot this week with the cold snap. They’re 20% off on Amazon at the moment

Love that! I’d like to see the cookie too please when you get around to it. Also, where did you find it?

Hopefully the link will work.
Comes from Switzerland and took a couple of weeks to arrive but beautifully made and packaged. Came with a recipe for Swiss cookies which I plan on making this weekend so will post a pic.
They do a whole range of cutters.

Not a criticism but I love the diesel heater on the van and would hate to take up valuable space inside with an alternative - what’s the appeal?

Agreed, the other problem is likely increased condensation.

I love the diesel heater too. It’s my first using the electric heater in the van. I bought it for home but thought I’d try it in the van this weekend.

I can think of one very important one: cleaner air around and in your van, because no exhaust fumes.
Also, when on camping, your neighbours won't hate you that much if you use the electric heater.

I also have an electric heater of about 700W. It makes chilly evenings a little more comfortable without having to inhale diesel exhaust fumes.

I have ordered a 2l air fryer for the many occasions when I go to a site and the only option is EHU. Would love your best vegetarian van recipes
I have bought a 2L one as well. Mine can be run on the Delta 2 but on hookup is better.
Current favourite is patatas bravas, which take 10 mins!

Here we go! Think I cut these a bit thin and the wheels got a bit clogged up! Used the recipe in the box and they taste delicious but next time I might might make shortbread or a shrewsbury biscuit recipe.
The kitchen smells amazing.

Such a shame I can only download the picture and not the real cookie

I see you've gone for the 2 piece set, I've found the extra bit that covers the carpet between the footwells to be well worth having, but I do drive my van wearing site boots quite a lot so anything that keeps the mud under control is good.
Andy, I have been looking for that extra middle bit - any ideas where I can buy that? I already have the 2 x footwell ones. TIA, Richie

Here's a niche purchase.

We like to try and appreciate the local wildlife when we're out and about. Binoculars are are handy essential in daylight hours but not much good after dark. So...

Say hello to the Magenta 5 hand held bat detector.

Depending on where we are we can now sit out with warm cup of coffee after dusk and listen to as well as watch the local bat life. It also keeps the 10 year old occupied.
(Much more interesting than it sounds).

20% off on the RSPB website over Christmas for those that appreciate a bargain :)

found anywhere selling it separately, I bought a 3 piece set and then sold on the other 2 parts.

Think you need a new user name. :D

Bats life might be fascinating but at the moment there are ongoing rabies cases in Netherlands, Poland and Spain linked to bats. They are spreading rabies year after year in different parts of Europe. I rather stay away from them if I can.
