Yes I think I will leave it in place as we do use our Cali even on driveway. At the moment the back is just tucked in. I have made the corners at the back to secure it. And yes Vertical cover is draped over.

I find them comfortable but the misses hates them best to try before purchasing.

yes I initially thought the same but it’s flat there so it can be stored against the lower part of the wardrobe at the rear with a small fixing bracket. Takes up very little space that way.

Yes and yes, very happy with them. I also bought the balls that go on the feet, which help on sand. Here are a couple of pics. The Helinox chairs push the existing chairs out very slightly, but everything fits nicely and no problem closing the boot.

Bought myself a bike box for the Brompton. It’s fitted to the rails using eye bolts and straps to keep the bike in place. You can still turn the drivers seat, but not much room!

Ive been busy… bought a Fogstar 230ah battery and fitted under the drivers seat. The cables/connectors all wrapped up fit neatly along one side of the battery and a Victron 15a mains charger fits on the other side. It can be charged while on hookup, but it’s also permanently connected to the Delta 2 if it needs a top-up. No DC-DC charger is installed yet…

I used 3 ratchet straps to keep the battery in place as per @Shadrack ’s idea, but may design some brackets at some point. The ground stud was left in place but shortened to allow room for the battery height. It’s going to be used primarily to run my Indel B fridge and should easily last 2 weeks between charges.
