What size wheels do you have?

With the state of the roads around Britain I can't see the point of low profile tyres and large wheels. More rubber less wheel and I think the tyres are probably a lot cheaper aswell

I love a big wheel and van paintscraping the road ,but i wouldn't go bigger than 18"'s and drop of no more than 30-50mm :smile

I've got new set of 18's coming today :) shod with 45 profile load rated tyres , will pop a pic up when they are on.

Well I have owned my Cali for 5 weeks now and don't regret putting 20" alloys on.

I have driven over 2000 miles in 5 weeks and experienced lots of different roads. We have driven to Devon, Dorset, London, Kent, and the South of France (well about an hour south of Bordeaux)

I cant fault them but it all depends on what sort of drive you are looking for.

My Cali has been lowered 30mm as well so the best way I can describe it is it drives like a car not a van. It doesn't wallow as its going round corners and doesn't feel any harder than my wife's Audi A4.

It is a personal choice so my advice is do what you want to do.

I personally think it looks much better with bigger wheels but there are plenty of people on here who would say otherwise!

Since owning the Cali and putting the wheels on I have lost track of the amount of random people that comment and compliment the wheels.

Very nice ;-)

19" Dotz Hanzo's for me, I ran the Miyato 16" that came stock on my '11 plate for about 6 months, but really did not like the look.

The handling with the Hanzo's is MUCH better... and I think it looks miles better too...

All very well going for large wheels but the larger the wheel the lower the load rating. Beware your insurance will be void if the tyres are not properly load rated.

Mine are 275/40/20 xl load rating of 106 an cost ÂŁ100 a tyre.

ÂŁ100 a tyre ? Must be remould's rich !! ?? lol

Quite like my 17" Thunders, but currently waiting for the postman to deliver my new Sportlines! (103 rated). Not 100% sure anthracite will match sand beige though. Mr's Hutch is hoping I hate them so she can have them for her T5!

Ok so my new alloys finally turned up, late, right design wrong colour but when I had a proper look at them on I did like the overall appearance, they are 18" on load rated 235 45 profile tyres, it's a bit better cornering, a little harsher ride but nothing serious. Not going to mess with OE lowering springs like some have done as that may stiffen up the ride even more then I'll probably not be happy then.
