What to watch on Netflix?

Just finished binge watching Toxic Town. Based on a true events and excellent acting. Well worth a look.
Thanks for the headsup. I had no idea Corby was the epicentre of a birth defect tragedy.... and I lived there until 1982 when left for Uni. My father still lives in Cottingham just outside the town.

season 7 should be interesting with Horner sending pics of his c*ck to the secretary. lol.
seriously,what was he thinking ?
It’s on Netflix now. Horner is the master of keeping calm and carrying on

I'll need to have a look on the bay made of pirates when I get home

Adolescence. Stephen Graham at his best once again. Not light viewing though.

I watched the first episode last night.

The acting, especially from the boy, is superb.

Each episode is also filmed as a one shot. No edits, no scene cuts, just the occasional longer slower scene where I reckon batteries are being replaced in the camera.

Gripping

To do it in one take is remarkable. The boy had no professional acting experience as well which makes it even more special.

Often older actors are used to portray younger characters, but in this case Owen Cooper is 15 but only 14 when he played the 13 year old Jamie. The kid has a bright future ahead of him should he decide to pursue an acting career. The arresting DI was also well cast and has talent.
