What's in here?

Hello everyone

Just purchased a used T5 California, so forgive me if the question is somewhat naive, I am still finding my way around.
Underneath the "wardrobe" there is a panel which I believe needs a key to open. I've worked through the user manual, but cannot find a reference.
Can someone please enlighten me as to what this is? I am unable to open.

A leisure battery I think

Thats where the 2nd Leisure battery is. One under the passenger seat, and the other in that space behind the panel. My panel doesnt need a key, I think just a flat blade screwdriver opens mine. just turn 90 degrees and it should pull out from the top and lift up.
