Wheel bearings

Anyone had a go at replacing a front wheel bearing? 2005 T5.

What were the signs that they needed replacing? Mine is one of the Older Calis, so, without being paranoid, I'd like to know when I'll know I need to do something

Wheels wobbling ? Possibly juddering as you apply & release brakes. To check jack van up, grab top & bottom of wheel & see if it rocks top to bottom, if so get someone to put foot on brakes & if movement goes it is wheel bearing.
