Which Switch?

I'm hoping for some advice from someone with basic electrical knowledge (unlike me).

I wanted to make a simple 12v electrical shower, using a small submersible pump, and powered by a 3 cell, 12.6v 2200ma/h lipo battery. All has gone fine and it works really well. However, right now I am having to connect and disconnect the battery by pulling apart the connectors. This is not pleasant with wet and soapy hands, so I would like to fit an easy to use switch. Problem is, I have never attempted this before and haven't a clue what I need.
Could someone enlighten me, and maybe a link to where I can get what I need :D

I would really appreciate this help and any other tips for getting this right the first time.

Many thanks in advance.

Daniel
ps I'm happy to post some pictures when it's all finished if anyone is interested

As a simple option how about something like this:

just a simple in line waterproof switch.

A more complex setup would be to have an inline pressure switch. http://whalepumps.com/rv/product-applic ... ure-Switch

and a shower head that has a release trigger/valve.

Opening the trigger on the shower head changes the water pressure in the system and the pressure switch turns on the submersible pump.

We use one of these plugged in by the rear door, may be of some use, comes complete with waterproof switch:

I use something similar to the link above, the power pack on mine is slightly different that in can use cell batteries as well as 12v dc power. The submersible pump was pants though and after sending two back gave up a bought a branded whale one, connected it to the original power pack and we now have a power shower  just need to find something to limit the amount of water the pump can move.
Also use a cheap pop up tent as a shower screen, we were at first crouching behind windbreakers for many years but have moved into the 21st century using the tent.

Thanks for all your advice guys.
In the end I have used the shower head from my Hozelock shower (which I found not powerful enough) connected to some thicker tubing than the hozelock for increased flow, and I have ordered a waterproof switch (Thanks Owen_H for the link)
So, all good :D
Cheers

Just curious to know what is involved in fitting one of these to my new fangled power shower

Anyone fitted one to a 12v shower arrangement?

Not fitted one to a 12v shower but they are pretty standard in most caravan water systems.
Installation of the water part is inline between your submersible pump and shower head (I'm assuming the hoselock head has some sort of trigger to allow water flow). The electrical side you would fit on the +ve feed to the pump. ie battery +ve -> inline (isolator) switch -> pressure switch -> pump.
Physically how you mount it would depend on what you have done with the battery etc.
