Which way to unscrew the lid to the gas compartment?

Mine is, but not knowing which model, or year, you have I could be wrong.

Righty tighty, lefty lucy as above.....unless the cap jams in the hole that is. Then it's &£+?!#**$ a lot...

It has a rubber seal and when screwed thight it is hard to unscrew again...

Somehow the ribs on the underside of the cover jammed on the regulator on ours, and it was one hell of a job to get it off.

Following that, I cut all the ribs off the underside so it wouldn't happen again.

Also had regulator meeting screw top issue. The trick seems to be to attach the regulator to the bottle and push/swivel down against the bottle so it doesn't catch the lid, but usually too late once you realise you've forgotten and screwed the lid on already...!
