Why is my gas not working?

On previous threads to do with this, it has been said that the yellow button on the side of the regulator could be a reset button. The button on my regulator will not press in at all. It's solid.
All I did was to swap bottles and the gas stopped coming through to the burners.

1. Is the bottle full.
2.have you turned it on at the bottle.
3 have you turned it on in the kitchen.
4 Never found the yellow button do anything.

After doing all of the obvious tests (above), odds on it will be the regulator that will need replacing. It used to be possible to buy a kit including regulator, hose connectors etc.

What is the outside temperature?
If your new bottle has been stored outside until now , with the present temperatures then that could be the cause. Needs to be at least 5c to work effectively.
As long as the new bottle has gas in it, weights on side of bottle, leave in the house overnight and try tomorrow.

The button pops out if activated.

It first stopped working whilst it was very mild.

It is the High Pressure Release Valve, to protect consumer appliances.
