Windscreen washer fluid warning light not working

I have a Beach T6.1 from 2021. The warning light for my washer fluid has never worked. The fluid just runs out without any warning at all (which in my opinion is a bit sketchy). My friends who have an ocean of the same era have a light. I was told by the VW dealer here (AMAG) that it is normal and some models don't have it. I find this a bit weird.

Is anyone able to confirm or otherwise? Those with Beaches from this time, do you have working washer fluid lights?

I don't have a Beach, but my T5.1 Comfortline (now this is called Ocean), has the option heated washers and level indicator as standard. As a Beach is a "lower" version of an Ocean, I might suspect that, if you don't tick that option, you won't have it.

Yep, it's an option you have to select in the Beach, although was only about £18 I think! Stupidly I didn't spec it as I assumed you would be able to see the reservoir but it's buried deep in the engine. Not really a big deal though and I just fill it up every few months.

I didn't have the option for a level indicator but I may have had an option for heated washers, so maybe it was bundled up with that. I just assumed all cars had this and the garage was trying to fob me off. Thanks a lot.
