Wing Mirrors - Collecting rain

A quick look/search has not answered my question.

When it rains my wing mirrors (not folded) fill up with water and only drain when folding them up. Is this normal? The RHS mirror seems to fill up significantly more than the LHS.

Thoughts?

mine have always done this I turn them up as I back out of the drive after a wet night.

They always have since the T5 appeared in 2003, it doesn't seem to do any harm. Drain them if you so wish but it's not necessary.
