Winter Sites

Where do people go in the UK in the winter, I'm keen to escape for a few weekends and don't really want to wild camp, but would like somewhere safe with some facilities. Unfortunately it seems most sites seem to close down!

(Exmoor)we stayed here in feb 2013 only one on site 1st snow in the van. only basic loo and shower open - nice spot. not sure if they are still open all year.

The Caravan club has loads of sites open throughout the year, all with excellent facilities. You can check their website for availability.

Caravan club sites have heated loo blockes which are fab

Choose a city with lots of warm places to hang out.
