Winter Tyres

My Beach Hut needs a new set of front tyres but im unsure what size to go for and also want the correct load rating. I may drive to the alps this xmas and want some decent rubber in case we hit snow. So should I go for:

245/45/R18 103 which i have on the rears at present
or
255/35/R18 101 currently on the front, but need replacing...???

Yes. But there is no chance of getting pulled up with different brands etc. Been Europe loads and never had a problem. Never fitted Headlight converters either

You shouldn't really have wider tyres on the front than the rears. 245 is a plenty wide enough tyre, if it were me I would put winter rubber all around.
