With the automatic lights function is there supposed to be a warning light on the dashboard to tell you the lights are on? In our skoda which has the same VAG system we have a warning light (green bulb image), but not on our T6 or has a bulb blown?

Thanks.

On my T5.1, no warning lights for Dipped Beam, only Main Beam,Fog and Rear Fog.

After all, if it is dark and the headlights are on then you should be able to see them through the windscreen.

If the lights are on Automatic then they will switch Off when the ignition is Off and if on Manual then you get an audible alarm if they are on when the Ignition is Off.

No warning on dash for dipped, but on the control dial it lights up to show when dipped is on.

Thanks. Understood but sometimes when it's dusk it's difficult to tell.

Thanks Stuart. Pity that progress means the bulb indicator on the dashboard has been removed. At least the worry about a blown dash light has gone.

Having a warning light on the dash for dipped beam seems a bit odd to me, and I've never driven a vehicle like that.

My BMW has a light in the dash when the lights are on. Very useful in Auto mode as the lights don't usually come on in Fog, neither does my Wife's EOS (not sure about panel light) Have to switch on manually for legal & safety reasons.

Yes fog is the problem and that is why a warning light would be useful.
I have this on my C class and have noticed a few times in daylight fog the dipped beam does not come on. I can switch it on though.
