Camping at the Dunkirk Ferry Terminal

Sorry if this has been asked before, but for years we always caught the late ferry from Dover knowing we could park up for the night in front of the terminal building, then straight onto the motorway in he morning.
We went for a quick blast over to France last June in the car, and on returning to Dunkirk noticed its all changed, it appeared that the overnight carpark had been built on? Can anyone confirm this and if so what's the alternative please.

Thanks will have a look going on the 10th of June, only thing is if we get there late what's the policy. at least with the terminal you could rock up all hours, shame its gone
