Radio connectivity

Hi I have recently bought a 2007 VW Cali and i'm enjoying her, however im a bit dissapointed with the stereo set up as it has 'no aux in' cable to connect with my phone. Is there an easy way to do this or is it a case of buying and fitting a newer parrot or similar device? thanks

There might be one on the back of the unit perhaps? If it's the standard 210 CD player then perhaps it could be an excuse to upgrade!

Seeing as the 1st iPhone/iPod Touch didn't come to market until 2007 I'm not surprised.

You could maybe get an FM transmitter? My experience is they are ok for using with older stereos but not the best sound quality.

Some good threads on the forum regarding stereo upgrades also worth a look.

There will be a 3.5mm jack aux input socket on the rear of the head unit.
You just need to access it.
