Window mechanism problem

Hi
Does any of of kind people know anyway to fix mechanism on window on sliding door ?
My little girl opened it and it is stuck.
Nothing has actually broken off

Here is a picture

It does seems that ther's something broken , i notice a small chip misding on the part you grab.
Think it supposed to be attached to the metal bar going downwarts to release the window in the rail below .
The other grab handle does thesame in the rail above.

Do correct me if i'm wrong as it is just a observation using the pictures above.

That looks as if it is broken I'm afraid. Catch shouldn't be able to open that far.
So it is VW or DIY using this kit _

I have seen an English guide previously but couldn't find it quickly.
