MFD blank or stuck when in ACC

If I turn off ACC, the MFD is just blank. Turning on ACC gives the distance grid picture only. Up and down and OK buttons don’t do anything (multi function steering wheel)

ACC still works though. Any suggestions?

Strange... Sounds like a dealer visit required...

Have you tried to disable the ACC

Duh, I realised that there is a whole other world beyond the MFD, and had never used the scroll button... at least not on purpose.

I was chatting to salesman at the Birmingham VW Centre at little while ago. He said that a number of new customers could not get on with ACC so had it permanently disabled.

I only have Cruise Control in my Ocean and use it all the time.

Probably a faulty steering wheel interface possibly a circuit fault.
